  • Our ceramic workshops are always held in our studio in Zurich in small and intimate groups. We will start the ceramic workshop by doing a intro into all things clay. We will discuss the different types and their properties as well as the firing and the ceramic glazes. We follow up by a in depth demonstration of the three main ways to work with clay. Here you will get the chance to make a few test pieces to get you ready for the big stuff. For the next 2 hours you have time to explore the materiality of clay and its possibilities. If there is a vision for your ceramic object, let us know, we will make sure to help you realise it. Once the workshop starts nearing its end you will have some time to chose the glaze you would like.

Your ceramic object will slowly dry for about a week before it will go in the kiln for its first firing. A few days and more than 1000 degrees celsius later it will go in the kiln one last time for the glaze firing. This ensures your ceramic object is water and food safe as well as dishwasher proof!
