Where Your Childs Creativity Takes Center Stage

At Paint Club Kids, each Monday afternoon begins with a fun and easy introduction to a brand new art technique - like exploring colours, basic shapes, or painting simple portraits, presented in a relaxed, child-friendly way. Then, the children spend the rest of the session creating their own artwork, guided by experienced artists who provide encouragement and support. Our safe, welcoming studio encourages kids to express themselves freely, make friends, and have fun in a positive creative space.

Throughout the 10-week course, you’ll see your child’s confidence and skills grow as they learn new ways to paint and express their unique ideas. Beyond art techniques, Paint Club Kids fosters social skills, creativity, and a love for exploring the arts. By the end of the term, your child will have created beautiful paintings, filled their sketchbook with creative ideas, and become part of a supportive community of young artists.

Elliot Stew

Hi, I’m Elliot Stew, a professional artist and co-founder of Zurich Art Club. I studied painting at Central Saint Martins in London, where I developed my passion and skills for creative expression. After moving to Switzerland, I opened an art gallery in Sankt Moritz and founded the Zurich Art Club with the vision of making Zurich Switzerland’s most creative city.

I believe painting should be personal and freeing - not about copying others. In Paint Club, I guide you to discover your unique artistic voice and equip you with a toolbox of painting techniques you can use for life. I’m excited to support your creative journey and can’t wait to start painting with you!

  • Paint Club Kids meets at the Zurich Art Club’s central studio, easily accessible by bus and tram. The space is safe, welcoming, and fully equipped for children’s creative activities.

  • This course is designed for children aged 7-12 of all skill levels. Whether your child is new to painting or already loves to create, Paint Club Kids offers a fun and supportive environment tailored just for them.

  • No. All art supplies, including paint, brushes, canvases, and sketchbooks are included in the course fee. Parents don’t have to worry about extra costs or bringing anything from home.

  • Kids will explore a variety of painting techniques suitable for their age, build confidence in artistic expression, and develop creativity in a fun, play-based setting. Each week introduces a new theme or skill, from color exploration to simple self-portraiture.

  • Absolutely! After a short introductory activity, children are encouraged to paint whatever inspires them, with guidance and encouragement from experienced child-friendly instructors.

  • Groups are limited to a maximum of 10 children to ensure personalised attention and a safe, friendly atmosphere.

  • Yes, all works-in-progress are securely stored at the studio, so your child can take their time to finish their paintings without worry.

  • Yes, all your projects are looked after at the studio until the end of the course, so you never have to worry about space or wet canvases between classes.

  • The 10-week Paint Club Kids course costs 460 CHF and includes all art materials, expert instruction, drinks and healthy snacks.
